Get involved on campus!
Barnard students can learn and share with their peers through the many Columbia student organizations. The cultural clubs welcome all people to observe and partake in regular meetings and occasional events. Interacting with and finding peers who are equally as enthusiastic about a specific culture is a great way to hone language skills and engage and broaden one's perspectives on ritual and traditions. If there are any gaps in cultural clubs, students are encouraged to form new organizations to help further cultural awareness. All Columbia student groups are inclusive. The events are culturally themed but always welcome to any students who are respectful and receptive.
